Print a Mini Me

3D printing is an exciting new technology with so much potential for many industries. But so far this is the coolest idea I've heard.  It's the world's first 3D-printing photo booth where you can print a miniature model of yourself!  Omote 3D Shahin Kan is opening a pop-up store in Tokyo where you can create one for a limited time. 

You just stay still for 15 minutes while they scan you with a 3D scanner and that information is printed using a 3D color printer. The concept sounds simple... but all that technology in between is amazing!  It's pretty expensive but I have a feeling in a few years these photo booths will be available all over the city just like プリクラ.
