Graze

I had a lovely wedding anniversary dinner last night at the Graze at Rochester Park. I would have been happy with any place that served a good beef tartare, which I was craving but I ended getting a very nice private outdoor dining experience on top of it.  I hear this place is busy on Saturdays but seems like Sunday is a great time for a nice quiet al fresco dining with free flow of wine and beer :) We literary had the whole place to ourselves.

Every piece

Having two weddings in different countries was crazy but now I get two wedding anniversary dates :) One for my Japan wedding and one for my Singapore wedding. That's double the celebration and double the good food!! This weekend is our 1st year Singapore anniversary and I thought it's would be a perfect opportunity to share this beautiful video I have been a fan of since it was first introduced by Etsy during valentine's day. Fold Surface

I've introduce the sculptures by Arik Levy before that I love. It's probably going to be pretty difficult for me to get myself one of those but I can definitely see the  Fold Surface wall lamps he designed for Vibia in my house :) 

Print a Mini Me

3D printing is an exciting new technology with so much potential for many industries. But so far this is the coolest idea I've heard.  It's the world's first 3D-printing photo booth where you can print a miniature model of yourself!  Omote 3D Shahin Kan is opening a pop-up store in Tokyo where you can create one for a limited time. 

You just stay still for 15 minutes while they scan you with a 3D scanner and that information is printed using a 3D color printer. The concept sounds simple... but all that technology in between is amazing!  It's pretty expensive but I have a feeling in a few years these photo booths will be available all over the city just like プリクラ.
