I've been pretty loyal to the PS Cafe Palais in ranking it as my favorite brunch place in Singapore.. but looks like I have to make some changes. I just had a weekend brunch at the Club Street Social and I'm in love with their Truffled Egg Toast! Ok, the restaurant is not exactly on Club Street but it's close enough and the chic industrial decor will take you out of Singapore.

The truffle fragrance with the perfect runny eggs and thick layer of cheese. mmm..

Coussin Fluo

f,l,ow,e,r,s

I will leave you this week with probably the prettiest stationery you've seen. It may not be the most practical, but the f,l,o,w,e,r,s by Norihiko Terayama is so beautiful and poetic.

It has the stems of 30 tiny little flowers placed in 1cm intervals to be a measuring device. The concept behind it is that with a field of it, we can lie down by the flowers to measure our height. I guess I will have to count 167 flowers... but it'a a lovely interpretation of a commonly used tool :)

Message on the Keyboard

It will be so nice to come back to this after being away from the desk. These Deng On notes are designed to stand in your keyboard and they come in so many animal shapes! They even have Tapirs so I'm sure you can find one of your favorite animal ;) Unfortunately, my sexy wireless mac keyboard cannot host these cute animals...

PLANTINI

This PLANTINI miniature hothouse from Another Studio for Design is the most beautiful thing ever!! It's a metal plant house model kit that comes with everything you need to grow beautiful flowers. This is definately my favorite find so far this year.

and the best part is that you get to build it yourself :)

Home & Delicious

Going through online design publications is one of my favorite pass times now, especially when I'm feeling under the weather like I did last night. Luckily I came across Home & Delicious to keep me company as I curled up in my blanket. I love how it leads to many other beautiful websites and the creative inspirations are just endless... it's delicious!

Cocotte

Have you tried the Cocotte restaurant at the Wanderlust Hotel, Singapore? We just had a big dinner there for a friend's birthday and I have to say it's a great choice for the occasion. Good casual french food, hip rustic chic decor and a comfortable atmosphere, for large groups or a date.

I've been in love with beef tartare since first experiencing it in Paris and I was so excited to find it on their menu! I will definitely be back for this.
