i went for an afternoon tea at the arteastiq in the mandarin gallery.  here, you can shop for modern furniture aaand have a nice cup of tea.  my kinda place.

here's my new and favorite addition to the kitchen. the russian doll measuring cups from FRED!

not only do i love the minimalistic design, but how smart this product is.  to take something with history and to give it a new life, i think is amazing.  its one of those products that make me say, oh why didn't i think of that!  i have always been a fan of Fred products but i think this one is by far my favorite.

super easy recipe for a pumpkin gratin. great for parties!

kabocha gratin

Pumpkin - 1 (small)

Cream - about 100cc

cheese
salt n pepper

♥ Cut the top part of the pumpkin to open it up. Place on a plate, saran wrap and microwave. please adjust the time according to your microwave and size of the pumpkin.  about 10 min for a 15cm diameter pumpkin.  the inner part needs to soften...but not so much the shell will tear.

♥ Carve out the inner part out with a spoon and place in a bowl.  *be careful not to rip the pumpkin shell

♥ Slowly mix the cream in to the bowl with the pumpkin to create a paste. pour the cream in steps and adjust so it does not turn too soft.

♥ Pour the mix back in the pumpkin shell.

♥ Cover the top with cheese and bake until cheese is melted and golden brown.

* You can add veggies/ beacon/ minced meat in to the mix to make it even tastier.

nail art has been my hobby since i was only 12. i love to come up with new designs and
find unusual materials/ tools to use. here's my design for the week.

Its just stickers with clear coating... took total of 10 minutes to do!

i'll be sharing some of my original nail art along the way.
